As a school, we are focusing on South America! In year 6 we are going to concentrate on Brazil! Our mornings will be catered towards finding out and using art as a media to express our findings.
Your afternoons will be spent exploring all of South America as you move around the school to different stations and experiment with different medias.
Brazil!
We are going to focus on the very famous carnival festival that is celebrated in Brazil annually! We are therefore going to be making our very own carnival masks - using tissue paper maché and plastic masks as a mould for our design.
We are also going to link this topic to our literacy, geography, IT, history and numeracy skills! It's going to be a busy week!
